Healing is not a destination. It is a journey back to yourself.

On World Healing Day, we honor the quiet bravery it takes to turn inward. Healing asks us to slow down. To notice. To release what no longer serves us. To soften into compassion for the parts of us that learned to survive.

There are many paths to healing. Therapy. Journaling. Somatic practices. Mindfulness. Creative expression. Honest conversation. Each step, no matter how small, creates space for growth and integration.

Healing is about choosing, again and again, to show up for yourself with honesty and care.

Naming our feelings is the first step toward understanding them. Acknowledging your emotions and pairing them with a small, intentional action helps you move through them rather than getting stuck.

EX: When I feel anxious, I like to pause and take slow, deep breaths to calm my nervous system. When I feel frustrated, I like to step outside and walk while noticing the sensations in my body. When I feel sad, I like to journal or talk with someone I trust to process what’s coming up.
