As the seasons change, so can our mood.

Seasonal depression , also known as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is more than just “winter blues.” Shorter days, less sunlight, and changes in routine can impact sleep, energy, motivation, and overall emotional wellbeing.

You might notice:
• Low energy or fatigue
• Increased sleep
• Changes in appetite
• Difficulty concentrating
• Feeling down, unmotivated, or withdrawn

If your brain feels loud lately, here are a few small steps you can take today:

✔️ Name it. Pause and ask: “What am I actually feeling right now?”
✔️ Shrink the task. Do the first 5 minutes, not the whole thing.
✔️ Lower the bar. Done is better than perfect. Always.
✔️ Ask for support. You don’t get extra credit for doing it alone.

Therapy isn’t about fixing you, it’s about giving you tools that actually fit your real life. 💛

Therapy appointments can be excused from school or work,just like any other medical appointment.

We’re happy to provide doctor’s notes when needed because mental health is just as important as physical health.
