Elder Care is looking for caregivers that are interested in working as a companion for someone that needs assistance with meal prep, reminders for medications, socialization, attending doctor appointments and general companion care. Hours can be flexible. Areas are Mahopac, Somers, Mt.Kisco, Bedford and Carmel, New York.
Certifications not required, but a caring and patient personality is needed to work with this aging population. Drivers License is required . Immigration status must be updated and ready to work.

FYI
Medicare does not cover long term or custodial care at home. The benefits they provide are generally short term and require a skilled need. Some Medicare Advantage plans offer limited home health aide support in unique circumstances. Checking with your Advantage Plan would supply the most accurate information.
