National Rural Health Day is celebrated annually on the third Thursday of November to honor the spirit of rural America and raise awareness of the unique healthcare challenges faced by rural communities. The day draws attention to unique challenges such as access to care, staffing shortages, health inequities, and the impact of factors like poverty and the opioid crisis in rural regions.

It's that time! 2025 Christmas with Eubank Fire Department is right around the corner!

The flyer is just a brief reminder of dates and times, so we will add all of the details here.

FILL THE FIRE TRUCK-
At Cash Express in Somerset
Dec.6th 11am-2pm.
Come See Santa and Mrs. Claus and help us fill our fire truck with new, unopened toys for the cabin.

CHRISTMAS CABIN-
At Eubank City Park
Dec.12&13 5pm-9pm

Come walk through the trail of lights, share a laugh, picture or high five with some of our characters. This year Santa is bringing some friends he never has before; we've got Jacqueline Frost that will be doing some aerial tricks and some reindeer that will be training to fly with ol' Saint Nick. There's some that may run, run, run as fast as they can and some will be there with a mischievous plan.

Each child that comes through the cabin, 10 and under, will receive a toy. Everyone, no matter their age, will get cookies and choice of hot chocolate, coffee or our infamous Hot Apple Cider.

We have made some changes, so here is a brief idea of what to expect along the path. We are still working on this event so there will be more to come.

When you first come into the park you will see Shelter 2. There will be several things to do here, so make sure to stop in.

Onto Mt. Crumpit, Can you guess who? He will be waiting to take a picture with you.
Next is the Cabin with Santa and Mrs., waiting to hear your Christmas wishes.

Then onto Shelter 1, the next place to go. In there you will get your toys and refreshments. Feel free to sit down and watch the show.

There will be new things to see/do throughout the entire path.

PARADE-
Dec. 13th
Line up 2pm near the Old Stave mill around Tower Drive on 1247.
Parade starts at 3pm.
We will be having a float competition with trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. There's no theme, no entry fee, all you have to do is show up and be a part of the parade. There will be candy thrown. Please do not allow children in the road at all. Parents/guardians, please wait till the parade has passed to retrieve the candy.

SPECIAL NEEDS CABIN-
Dec. 20th 5pm-8pm
Everyone is welcome any night of our cabin and it will be handicap accessible every night. On this night our characters are a bit more calm, there's less moving lights and everyone, regardless of age is welcome to a toy/gift.

Every event we host in the month of December is completely free, this is our way of trying to make sure every kid has a Christmas. You don't have to live in Eubank, you don't have to be a kid, you don't even have to be human; Santa has treats for the pups too. We just want to spread some Christmas cheer and try to make sure everyone has a magical experience when they come to our events. We will have donation boxes set up at the Cabin and every donation is greatly appreciated.

We do ask that no one dresses up as SANTA, MRS. CLAUS OR GRINCH at any of our events. We don't want to confuse the kids in attendance. We appreciate your cooperation on this matter.

The lights will be up from the time we decorate until the first of the year but keep in mind a lot of the decorations are only up during cabin times. Be sure to follow our page for updates.

We look forward to seeing you and we hope you have a Merry Christmas.
