The dry shampoo on the market is always full of harmful fragrances & chemicals! This recipe is absolutely the easiest & requires hardly any steps for a dry shampoo that works well!

We didn’t include specific amounts of each ingredient because everyone’s hair color is different! If you have darker hair, add more cocoa powder. If you have lighter hair, add more arrowroot powder! Find the recipe that works just perfectly for you!

For applying, we like to use an old makeup brush to dip into the powder, tap off the extra, & apply!

What you’ll need:

Cocoa powder
Arrowroot powder
Mason jar
Old makeup brush
Optional: 10-12 drops lavender essential oil

Steps:

Start by adding about 1/2 cup of cocoa powder to your jar. Then add arrowroot powder to match your hair color.

Once you have the powders mixed to your liking, you can add lavender essential oil or any of our favorite essential oils for a natural fragrance.

Apply with a makeup brush!
