🌸 Spring is in the air at Brighter Futures Therapy Center 🌸

We’ve been enjoying the season with fun, purposeful activities like our “Wacky Whiskers” fine motor game, putty play for hand strengthening, and lots of outdoor movement on the trampoline and in the sunshine.

Every activity is designed to build skills while letting kids be kids.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of a truly valued member of our team. There are some people who don’t just walk into a workplace, but they leave a mark on every single heart in it.

Jennifer was that person.

She brought dedication and professionalism to her role as a positive behavior support, but also a kindness and warmth that positively impacted everyone around her. Her presence made each day better, kinder, and filled rooms with laughter.

She will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts are with Jennifer’s family, friends, coworkers, and all the families/clients who had the privilege of working with her.

Today at Brighter Futures Therapy Center, we turned snack time into learning time! 🌈✨

Our kiddos had so much fun building colorful rainbows using Fruit Loops and marshmallows. While it looked like a sweet craft, it was also full of important occupational therapy skills.

As they sorted the colors, picked up the cereal, and placed each piece carefully, they were practicing:
• Fine motor skills
• Hand–eye coordination
• Color recognition
• Following directions
• Patience and focus

The marshmallows made the perfect fluffy clouds while the Fruit Loops created bright rainbow arches! ☁️🌈

Activities like this help children build important developmental skills while keeping learning fun, creative, and engaging. Plus… a little cereal snack at the end never hurts! 😄

We love watching our kids grow, learn, and shine a little brighter every day at Brighter Futures Therapy Center. 💛
