This day was particularly engaging and eventful. The Book Mobile visited us, bringing stories and key chains that we decorated. We were also honored with a visit from Amy of Lifeline of Somerset, and we enjoyed a game of bingo with prizes. Another activity that stood out was our attempt to keep balloons airborne using pool noodles, which presented a considerable challenge.

Our day began with a green egg breakfast sandwich, after which we showcased our skills by attempting to knock down all 28 cups with a tennis ball, with one participant achieving an impressive 27 cups. We then evaluated our capacity to dislodge sticky notes from our faces, which proved to be a challenging feat.

Active Day of Somerset offers a cost-effective long term care alternative designed to meet the physical, intellectual, emotional and medical needs of the clients we serve. Nursing services, personal care assisstance, nutritional meals, recreational therapy, physical, speech and occupational therpy, and transporation are amoung the many services offered on a daily basis. Caregivers can rest assured that we will help our clients enjoy safe and productive days while returning to the comfort and familiarity of home at night.
