New 5.0-star Review: "Ok, my wife and I retired 2012 to Wayne County, Ky., and that's how I heard about Southern Hearing on a local FM radio station. I had been relying on Hearing aids for a little over thirty years at that point in my life. I purchased four different types of hearing devices from mostly the largest companies in and around Lexington. I spent what I considered a small fortune on these devices, but as anyone with hearing deficiency can testify being able to hear at a reasonable level is critical to the quality of life for you and those around you. I've had some of the best hearing aids money could buy, however it's kinda like buying a vehicle. What a car dealer tells you in the front sales department is a far cry from you trying to get service in the back service department. Any type of equipment one will purchase is only as good as the service you get after you own them. Well, this is what separates Southern Hearing Aids and Allison from all the rest of hearing aid suppliers. When I decided to get another pair of aids I called around and spoke with a lot of companies about their brand of hearing aids, but primarily about their commitment to service and warranty. After listening to five different companies I decided Allison with Southern Hearing was the one that was the most invested in her commitment to her clients. It's been right at a year now and 100% of everything Allison said, everything she promised about service has proven true. Her hard work and dedication to her clients are deep rooted in this family business which comes from watching her dad build it while she was growing up. It's more to her than just a job/business, it's personal, she not only representing her brand, she is carrying on a family tradition that she loves and so totally proud of.
