Today is World Hearing Day! 🧡
This is an annual event, funded by the World Health Organization (WHO), to raise awareness and promote ear and hearing care. The theme for 2026 is "From communities to classrooms: hearing care for all children".

Help increase public awareness about the importance of ear and hearing care, how we can prevent avoidable childhood hearing loss and ensuring early identification of and care for children with ear or hearing problems.

Tuesday, March 3 is World Hearing Day! In an effort to bring attention to Ally's Act, H.R. 4606 & S. 3400 on this hearing health awareness day, we are asking everyone to please call Congressional and Senate offices in Washington, DC asking them to co-sponsor Ally's Act! This is very easy and just takes two minutes to call. We have specific offices that we are asking everyone to focus on for March 3 and/or during all next week.

Please remember:
- When calling offices for Congress, use the following bill # for Ally's Act: H.R. 4606.
- When calling offices for Senators, use the following bill # for Ally's Act: S. 3400

Here is the suggested Ally's Act call script to use when contacting Congressional representatives: "My name is X and I am calling today to ask Congress Representative X to please co-sponsor a bill that matters to me in honor of World Hearing Day. The bill is called Ally's Act, H.R. 4606."

Suggested Ally's Act call script for Senators: "My name is X and I am calling today to ask Senator X to please co-sponsor a bill that matters to me in honor of World Hearing Day. The bill is called Ally's Act, S. 3400."

NOTE: The person on the phone may ask you for your name and zip code. Give them your name and tell them you represent the Ear Community Organization (the nonprofit championing this Federal legislation) or an organization you work for.

We've had the privilege of working with so many incredible individuals and families affected by hearing loss, including many who use our Ponto™ and Sentio™ Systems. Over the years we’ve built meaningful relationships with hearing health advocates, who are passionate about supporting others by sharing their personal experiences with hearing challenges.

One of our dearest advocates, Tamala “Tammy” Sullivan, recently passed away. Tammy touched countless lives with her kindness, courage, and unwavering dedication to the hard of hearing community. She offered not only information and guidance, but genuine hope—the kind that comes from someone who has walked the same path and chooses to light the way for others.

To honor Tammy’s generosity and the impact she made, we have donated a Ponto processor to a child in need.

- Theodore Roosevelt
- Ronald Reagan, who was the first to actually wear hearing aids while still a sitting president
