Our cooking class this morning was a success! Everyone picked up new skills so quickly and created amazing (and tasty!) cheeseburger quesadillas. The end results were fantastic. We love seeing how confident our students are becoming.

A New Beginning Achievement Center

“Tell me and I will forget. Show me and I will remember. Involve me and I will understand.”

A New Beginning Achievement Center (ANBAC) is an agency committed to educating, preparing, and supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities ages of 18 years of age and up during life transitions into independent community living. A New Beginning Achievement Center is a place where these individuals can receive one-to-one guidance, with a trained staff, to help them learn the skills to become successful in their homes, in a job and within the community. A New Beginning Achievement Center is an infrastructure built to accomplish this needed understanding.

The following skills training and more will be available through group classes, structured environment set up and one-to-one high intensity training:


  • Financial Skills (budgeting, math, money management, saving, avoiding financial pitfalls, etc.)
