✨ These incredible ladies from the Teresa Heart Foundation in Zambia are turning challenges into opportunities. Due to hearing loss, their ways of earning income are limited — but through a program within the foundation, they’ve learned to sew and sell beautiful handmade products like purses and bags. 🧵👜

Thanks to Hearing The Call and Oticon, they also received the Gift of Hearing — and in return, they shared their amazing craft and spirit with our volunteer team. ❤️

Rene’s smile says it all 😄

After years of struggling with hearing loss - and being told by a doctor there was nothing to be done for his left ear - he thought he’d never fully hear again.

But during a trip to Hospital de la Familia in Nuevo Progreso for vision care, he discovered our hearing team - and a second chance he didn’t even know existed.

Renee didn’t just receive hearing aids; he got back what he was told was gone forever: the ability to preserve his hearing.

What began with cautious hope ended in gratitude—gratitude that will last a lifetime.
