Tableland Services, Inc. was proud to participate in the Point-In-Time Count in Somerset County—an important effort to identify and connect unhoused individuals with housing and supportive services. This outreach is about more than numbers; it’s about people, dignity, and meeting individuals where they are with compassion and hope.

We are incredibly thankful for Open Roads 2 Recovery for partnering with us and assisting in this meaningful work. Collaboration like this strengthens our community and helps ensure those experiencing homelessness know they are not alone and that support is available.

Together, we continue working toward stability, housing, and brighter futures for our neighbors. 💙

Due to weather conditions, OR2R’s Drop-In Center and in-person CRS services are canceled for tomorrow, Monday January 26th.

However, OR2R remains open as a warming center. If you are in need of a warm place, please call 814-233-2054.

❄️ WINTER STORM SAFETY TIPS 🥶

With dangerous winter weather and freezing temperatures impacting our area, we want to remind our community to take steps to stay safe and warm.

🧣 Cold Weather Safety Tips:
• Limit time outdoors whenever possible
• Wear layers, hats, gloves, and warm socks
• Keep skin covered to prevent frostbite
• Avoid unnecessary travel during blizzard conditions

🏠 If you’re indoors:
• Keep heat on at a safe level
• Close off unused rooms to conserve warmth
• Use blankets and warm clothing
• Never use ovens or grills to heat your home

🤝 Check on others:
Please check on neighbors, especially older adults, those living alone, or anyone without reliable heat.

If you or someone you know needs emergency shelter or support, contact PA 211 or 1-855-567-5341.
For life-threatening emergencies, call 911.
