Scott Devin Turner, age 34, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away on April 18, 2026. He was born on January 30, 1992, in Somerset, Kentucky.

Scott had a way of making people feel welcomed, valued, and at home in his presence. Full of life, he was humble, deeply caring, and incredibly lovable. He wore his heart on his sleeve and was known for his genuine spirit and strong work ethic. He found joy in the outdoors and loved fishing, kayaking, golfing, gardening, skateboarding, and traveling. He had a passion for working on anything with a motor and was a true Japanese car enthusiast. Scott was also a phenomenal cook who loved hosting his family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished forever. He was of Christian faith and, at just 8 years old, served as a song leader in church - a reflection of his desire to serve others.

Scott shared a special bond with his two beloved dogs, Chief and Ranger, who meant the world to him. He had a natural love for all creatures, treating every animal with the same kindness, patience, and gentle care that defined his heart. Like his father and brother, Scott was gifted with a natural creativity and artistic talent. He pursued that passion with determination, growing from an apprentice into the co-owner of his own tattoo studio, After Forever, in Wi******er, Kentucky. Through his work, Scott left a lasting mark - not only in his art, but in the genuine connections he formed with every person he met.

Scott is survived by his loving mother, Genevieve Turner, whom he cared for endlessly following his father’s passing; his loving brother, Darrin Turner; his loving sister, Rachel and Zachary Grigsby; and nephew, Grayson Grigsby; his cherished dogs, Chief and Ranger; his aunts and uncles, Sylvia and Tim Roberts, Teresa Lynne Brown and Jeff Doty, Eddie Turner, Bill and Barbara Turner, and Mary Todd; many beloved cousins, including Connie Jo Greenwell; Chris Turner; Robbie Todd; Teresa Rose; Kathy and Kenny Proctor; Ben Turner; Travis Martin and Lisa Day; Jasmine Martin and children Austin Carrender, Jet Owens, and Gabriel Martin; Joshua Roberts and children Ethan and Avery Roberts. He also leaves behind his bonus immediate family, “Mimi” Faye Vanhook, Dennis, Erin, Tyler and Claire, Brady, Jack, Grayson, and Autumn Beasley, along with many extended family members, close friends, and loyal tattoo clients.

He was preceded in death by his loving father, Don Turner; his grandparents; bonus grandfather William R. Vanhook; Cousin, Kyle Roberts; Cousin Jazilyn Owens; Uncle, Doug Colyer; and his best friend, Anthony Jimenez. Scott found true joy in life’s simplest moments, appreciating the little things that meant the most. He held a special place in his heart for the children in his life, and to them, he will always and forever be known as “Uncle Scott.” He carried a quiet strength and courage, stepping into his father’s shoes with grace and selflessness, making countless sacrifices and honoring his father’s legacy in a way that spoke volumes about his character. Scott lived with a spirit that reflected the words of the Eagles—to “take it easy.” He embraced life as it came, finding peace, joy, and meaning in each day. Scott will be remembered for his big heart, his creativity, his generosity, and the way he lived life with authenticity and purpose. His presence brought warmth and light to so many, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. “I lived".

Graveside Service will be Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chaney Cemetery with Pastor David Paddick officiating. Pallbearers will be Travis Martin, Josh Roberts, Robbie Turner, Tyler Beasley, Brady Beasley and Jack Beasley.
