We’re thrilled that Dr. Segil is joining us as Director of Women’s Health Services! https://getcommunityhealth.org/patients/become-a-patient/
Dr. Segil will be joining us soon and brings nearly 30 years of experience as a board-certified OB/GYN and will be caring for patients at both Families First Health Center in Portsmouth and Goodwin Community Health in Somersworth.
With deep expertise in urogynecology, complex pelvic surgery, and menopause management, Dr. Segil is passionate about helping women at every stage of life feel their best. His leadership will help us expand access to high-quality, compassionate women’s health care across our region, and build upon the excellent women’s health services that have been the hallmark of our clinics since their inception as prenatal care centers.

We proudly hosted a Community Meeting with Senator Shaheen today to discuss the enhanced premium tax cuts for the ACA set to expire by the end of the year. The conversation illuminated the uncertainty and fear facing many members of the community as premiums may rise as high as 40% from last year without tax credits. Our own Outreach and Enrollment Specialists, Mary and Ginny, actively participated providing their perspectives based on the interactions they are having with the community we serve. Members of the senior team, Justin Saint-Jacques, CO,O and Dean Correnti, CFO, rounded out part of the group discussion and certainly made Senator Shaheen feel welcome! Thank you Senator Shaheen for your time today and for your consideration of the issues that impact our community.

Don’t forget to stop by for Lago’s Half Gallon Ice Cream Fundraiser on Saturday, November 8th at 12 p.m. Half gallons are $15 each; payment is cash only. This event will last until the ice cream is gone, so please arrive early! All proceeds benefit our pediatric program, which focuses on preventive care, acute care, and child development guidance to support our patients’ mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
