Movement, sensory exploration, and functional fitness play a HUGE role in supporting individuals with autism in building confidence, independence, and self-expression! Through occupational therapy, personal training, and adaptive fitness, we help bridge the gap—building strength, improving coordination, and making movement fun & functional!
When we celebrate neurodiversity in movement, we create spaces where EVERYONE can thrive, grow, and feel strong in their own way.

October is Down syndrome awareness month! To kick things off, let’s learn more about Down syndrome and the unique role nutrition and physical activity play in the preventative approach to wellness. Individuals with Down syndrome often face many co-morbidities due to the nature of the diagnosis. However, with recent clinical advancements, the average life expectancy of this population has risen and around 80% of individuals will live into their 60’s! Research shows that interventions aimed at physical activity and proper nutrition with specific consideration of co-morbidities and their influence on nutritional basis, are even more important for individuals with Down syndrome

Para comenzar, aprendamos más sobre el síndrome de Down y el papel único que juegan la nutrición y la actividad física en un enfoque preventivo hacia el bienestar.
