Out Loud - A Very Q***r Open Mic

Let us come together and celebrate the wonderful weather to come. We're here, we're Q***r. We're talented AF! Come dance, sing, read poetry, tell us a story, or share your stand up. Let us hold you, praise you and celebrate!

This is a safe space for BIPOC & LGBTQ folks but allies and accomplices are welcome!

This event will be at the Arts at the Armory in Somerville, MA!

November is Native American Heritage month!

During this month we celebrate and honor our Native ancestors, especially those whose lives were forever changed when European colonizers arrived on Turtle Island.

As a Two-Spirit Black and Indigenous person of Souix, Mohawk, Blackfoot, Blackfeet and Cherokee descent, this month is particularly important to me because I am currently traveling visiting my family's ancestral land in Asheville, NC and across America.

I am the first to come back to this land in generations.

As I spend this time, learning and growing in my culture

Here are ways you can celebrate Native folks this November.

EDUCATE yourself about treaties and whose land you occupy.

ADVOCATE for local and state policies that affect Native communities and donate to actions.

CELEBRATE by supporting local initiatives through donations and resources.
