Nothing gets me more excited than a travel list especially when it belongs to a 15 year old with big dreams. ✈️🌍

After learning Jordan had a travel list of his own Uncle Bryan and I knew it was time to help him start checking off destinations. Charleston, SC was the perfect first adventure. A place that feels a little like home for us, but this time made even more special by seeing it through his eyes.

With Jordan’s love for history leading the way, we explored iconic spots (and even discovered a few new ones ourselves), ate our way through Charleston’s incredible food scene, and soaked up every moment. Add in a sweet dinner with my girl Heather and her two amazing girls, and it truly couldn’t have been better. ❤️

Here’s to travel lists, first adventures, and making memories together. ✨

These photos may not have made the holiday card… but they’re some of the ones closest to my heart. ❤️

This shoot holds so many memories for us. It was Kiwi’s last photo shoot, and in true Kiwi fashion she absolutely loved every minute of posing. Our little star was in her element, soaking up the attention and making the day feel even more magical. 🐾✨

Bryan wore the coat my grandfather returned home in after WWII, and I wore my dear friend’s mother’s coat from Korea (circa 1960s). We wandered through the decorated streets of Newport feeling like time travelers, wrapped in history, love, and a little holiday magic.

And through it all… Kiwi was right there with us. Our girl forever. Mom and Dad love you and miss you every single day, sweet Kiwi. 🕊️🐾

Back in 2008, Bryan and I decided to hit pause on “real life,” leave our jobs, and see the world! One of the highlights? South Africa 🇿🇦 where we somehow found ourselves riding ostriches and even standing on their eggs 🥚 (they’re strong enough to hold over 150 pounds!). It was wild, unexpected, and honestly unforgettable.

Experiences like that are the reason I think it’s so important to say yes to things that feel a little out of the ordinary. If you ever get the chance to travel or try something that pushes you outside your comfort zone… take it. Life’s meant to be lived fully. 🌍✨

A trip to Bryce Canyon was exactly what my soul needed. Views of the towering hoodoos, winding canyon paths, and scenery that made us all stop every few minutes just to take it all in. It’s hard to describe, but this place truly hits different. 🧡🌅
