Bean-Nut-Burger
One small onion, diced
One clove of garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon cumin
2Tbsp nut butter
1medium carrot. Shredded
14.5oz can bean of choice- mashed with fork
Salt and pepper to taste
4 Whole grain buns (optional)
Burger, toppings of choice
Heat 1and 1/2 avocado, oil or vegetable broth (oil free) on medium heat. add the onions and gently cook until softened- around 7 to 8 minutes.
Add the garlic and spices. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, stir in the grated carrots and the nut butter and the beans.
Mix everything well to combine. Remove from the heat and season to taste. When cool enough to handle, shape into 4 patties. Cook the burgers in a coated pan for about 5 minutes each side.
Serve and enjoy
