Our Birth Center has achieved the highly prestigious international Baby-Friendly® designation!

This honor demonstrates our facility’s adherence to the highest standards of care for breastfeeding mothers and their babies. These standards are built on the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding, a set of evidence-based practices recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) for optimal infant feeding support in the precious first days of a newborn’s life. Adventist Health Sonora is one of just 478 Baby-Friendly hospitals in the United States.

And we want to shout them out louder than a hungry baby at 3am. 🍼💼

Does your job not make you pump in a supply closet next to the mop?
Do they actually give you time to use that pump you lug around like a second diaper bag?
👏 NOMINATE 👏 THEM 👏

We’re looking for workplaces that get it — because leaking through your blouse during a Zoom meeting shouldn’t be part of the job description. 😂

Tag a workplace that’s doing it right and let’s give them the love they deserve.

We’re so grateful for our amazing local mamas who step up when another baby needs a little extra love. 💛

Thinking about donating your extra milk?
✅ Are in good health and have extra milk
✅ Don’t smoke or use ni****ne
✅ Avoid drugs and limit alcohol
✅ Only take approved medications (most are fine!)
✅ Store milk safely—label with the date and stored properly.
✅ Are open to screening questions and current lab testing
No amount is too small 💖
Let’s support each other—one ounce at a time.

I am supporting a sweet baby who is struggling to gain weight. This little one needs temporary supplementation, and the family is doing everything they can to avoid formula while they work on feeding challenges. 💛

If you’re a lactating parent with extra milk to share, your donation could make a huge difference.

✨ Milk stored safely & labeled with date
✨ No use of certain medications (we’ll guide you!)

One of the best parts of my job? Getting sweet updates from the families I work with — especially those sleepy, blissed-out, milk-drunk baby photos. 😍

There’s something so satisfying about seeing a well-fed baby snoozing with that little smile… it’s the ultimate sign that feeding is going well, and everyone is settling in.

To all the parents sending these golden moments my way — THANK YOU. It’s a joy to cheer you on and celebrate every milk-drunk milestone. 💛
