The team at Aloft Art Gallery is hosting their Spring 2026 show, “Blossoms & Blooms – Springtime in the Mother Lode,” on Saturday, April 18th from 5–8 PM in downtown Sonora.

Join us for a fun day in the Mother Lode! The WATCH Art Guild will have a sales booth at the 2026 Murphys Irish Day Celebration on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM in historic downtown Murphys, California.

This beloved community event features:
🎶 Live Celtic music and entertainment
🛍️ A lively street fair with around 120 vendors
🥁 The 11:00 AM parade with bagpipes, dancers, and colorful community floats

Stop by the WATCH booth to browse unique, handcrafted artwork created by our talented artists and say hello to artists Lisa and Patty, who will be working the booth that day. They would love to meet you!

🌊🐟 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗮 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 – 𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁🐟🌊

The WATCH Art Guild is excited to present a special “Under the Sea Adventure” art exhibit throughout the entire month of April 2026 at the Sonora Chamber of Commerce!

This ocean-inspired exhibit will feature artwork created by talented WATCH artists, including our famous collectible ceramic fish along with a variety of other handmade pieces from the WATCH Art Guild.

✨ Special Event – 2nd Saturday Art Night
Join us on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 5:00–8:00 PM when some of our WATCH artists will be present at the Chamber to meet visitors, share their work, and celebrate creativity in our community.

A big thank you to our amazing artists who helped represent the WATCH Art Guild at the Calaveras Celtic Fair last weekend! Our booth was a wonderful way to share the creativity and talent of WATCH artists with the community.

Each of them helped welcome visitors, share their artwork, and represent WATCH with pride. Events like this are a great opportunity for our artists to engage with the community, build confidence, and showcase their talents.

The details are getting sharper and the vision is becoming clearer!

Today, Mandy and Annika continued defining the church roof and refining the structure of the train. The steeple lines are becoming crisp and architectural details are standing out beautifully against the sky. ⛪

On the train, more definition and shading are bringing depth and dimension to the engine, helping it feel powerful and grounded within the landscape. 🚂

It’s inspiring to watch their focus and teamwork as they carefully build layer upon layer. Each day adds clarity, contrast, and confidence to this incredible community artwork.

Today was all about the details!

Mandy focused on bringing the train to life, carefully adding depth and definition to the engine. Every line and shadow strengthens the historic feel of this powerful centerpiece. 🚂

Angel assisted with the church details, refining the structure and helping the architectural features stand out beautifully against the sky. ⛪

It’s incredible to see how each artist contributes their unique strengths to different sections of the mural. The teamwork, patience, and growing confidence continue to shine through with every brushstroke.

We’re getting closer and closer to seeing this vision fully come together! 💙

🎨 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 – 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 💛

At the special request of the Aronos Club and Chris Halley, WATCH volunteers jumped into action to support the Senior Center’s Crafts on Wheels program — bringing creativity directly into seniors’ homes.

Our incredible volunteers created and hand-painted 300 clay medallions for seniors to assemble as part of their at-home craft kits. Each medallion was thoughtfully prepared with care, color, and community spirit.

Projects like this are a beautiful example of how WATCH artists and volunteers give back — sharing their time and talents to spread joy across generations. 💫

We are so grateful for the opportunity to collaborate and support meaningful, accessible activities for seniors in our community.

Together, we create. Together, we connect. ❤️

🎮 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 – 𝐁𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐲

As part of our Digital Discovery class, Robbie recently wrote a review of the video game Terminator 3: The Redemption.

Robby shared what he liked, what frustrated him, and whether he’d play it again — all skills that are part of learning how to express opinions online.

“I have played 25 minutes of the game and the game is appropriate for WATCH and I would go back to playing this game with a PS4 controller.”
