Our residents enjoyed Musical Therapy with the wonderful Ms. Stacey, singing along to “Let Me Call You Sweetheart.”
Music has a powerful way of sparking memories, lifting spirits, and creating moments of connection—and today was full of all three 💕

❄️✨ A little winter magic filled our afternoon! ✨❄️

Our Memory Care residents spent this chilly winter day getting creative by painting beautiful stained glass snowflakes and snowmen. 🎨☃️

Activities like this do more than brighten the day—they stimulate the creative mind, encourage self-expression, and help exercise fine motor skills through painting and brush control. These hands-on moments support cognitive engagement while keeping hands and minds active in a fun, meaningful way.

Smiles, focus, and creativity were on full display today—and the results were just as wonderful as the memories being made. 💙

A fun afternoon of winter painting 🎨❄️

Our one and only Life Enrichment Manager, Sherri, led a wonderful afternoon of winter painting, and just look at these beautiful creations! Even more special were the smiling faces—residents fully engaged, focused, and enjoying the moment.

In our memory care community, activities like painting are so meaningful. Creative expression supports cognitive stimulation, encourages communication, builds confidence, and provides a calming, joyful way for residents to connect—both with themselves and with each other.

It was a heart-warming afternoon filled with creativity, purpose, and joy. 💙

Check out the Bears spirit on game day! 🐻🏈

Granddaughter Sedona enjoyed a special visit with her grandmother, Theresa, and Kristen cherished time with her husband, Skip—a huge Bears fan (just check him out!).

Family visits, big smiles, lots of love, and a whole lot of sports fans filled the day. The Bears may not have won the game, but it was truly a win all around at Encore in South Barrington, a community we’re proud to call home.
