🥫 Helping Our Neighbors in Need! 🥫

Encore Memory Care at South Barrington is proud to support our local food pantry this season by collecting non-perishable food items for families in our community. Every can, box, and bag makes a difference! If you’d like to contribute, stop by and drop off your donations—we’ll make sure they get to those who need them most. ❤️

We are collecting nonperishable items from now through Friday, November 21st.

What a great way to give back for Thanksgiving and help those in need!

Encore Memory Care at South Barrington celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness Month—a time to honor the strength of those impacted by breast cancer and to spread knowledge about prevention and care. To show our support, we are hosting a Pink Pumpkin decorating challenge. This activity is a way for us to come together and celebrate the fighters, remember those we've lost, and rally for a cure.

🎨 Arts and crafts aren’t just fun—they’re powerful for those living with dementia! Creative activities spark memories, boost mood, encourage self-expression, and keep hands and minds active. It’s a beautiful way to connect and bring joy every day. 💜

For one of our Fall Crafts, we asked our residents to help create these beautiful fall trees using canvas and paint. Relaxing and creative time is so important and they all enjoyed working to create this wonderful display of fall colors.

This beautiful artwork will be displayed starting next week at the Schaumburg library, showcasing the inspiration and talents of our wonderful seniors.
