Settle in for an afternoon of deep rest and inner exploration through the practice of Yoga Nidra. In this extended session, we’ll journey through the five koshas—the layers of self—using guided meditation and intentional relaxation to access a profound state of stillness and clarity. We will discuss Yoga Nidra the first 30 minutes, followed by gentle movement, and building a Nidra Nest for a 45 minute Yoga Nidra.

This experience is designed to calm the nervous system, support emotional healing, and reconnect you with your inner wisdom. Whether you’re seeking rest, restoration, or a deeper connection to self, this practice offers a sacred space to simply be.

Wear your comfiest clothing—think cozy layers and socks—as the body tends to cool during deep rest. Pillows and bolsters will be provided, but feel free to bring your own favorite blanket or additional props for extra comfort.

All are welcome. No prior yoga or meditation experience needed.

COMFY CLOTHES ALERT!

Join me for my favorite practice, Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation that invites deep relaxation by journeying through the five koshas—the layers of our being: physical (annamaya), energetic (pranamaya), mental (manomaya), wisdom (vijnanamaya), and bliss (anandamaya.)

We’ll begin with 30 minutes of discussion and gentle movement to prepare for stillness, exploring how Yoga Nidra helps us access each kosha to cultivate balance and inner awareness. Then, settle in for a 45-minute guided Yoga Nidra practice, allowing your body and mind to fully unwind.

You can bring your own blankets and pillows for added comfort, though bolsters and blankets will be available at the studio. Your body cools during yoga nidra so wear warm, comfortable clothing and layers to fully relax into the experience. This practice is open to all levels—no prior yoga experience needed.

*This is a great addition to your practice if you are learning about the Kleshas in class with me this month
