The Counseling and Human Services and the Educational Leadership departments at IU South Bend recently received matching Comprehensive Counseling Initiative planning grants from Lilly Endowment, Inc.
Foundational to this planning grant is the belief that in order to improve and increase the social-emotional skills, career readiness and economic well-being within the Indiana workforce, school counselor and principal preparation programs must be fully engaged and supported to provide K-12 counselors and administrators with the necessary skills to be transformational leaders in our Indiana schools.
Our collaborative teams at IU South Bend are pleased to present an innovative and timely opportunity for local professional school counselors and administrators to attend a targeted workshop directed at improving the social, emotional, and college and career readiness of K-12 Hoosiers while simultaneously cultivating the outlook of our state economy.
