🚨 Major Driver of Endometriosis: A Dysfunctional Immune System

“A dysfunctional immune system is like playing defense with a blind fold; it allows endometriosis to run wild and grow out of control.

Normally, your immune system is like a super-sleuth, sniffing out anything that doesn’t belong, from germs to misbehaving cells, and destroying them.

But with endo, the immune system is sluggish. Instead of zapping those wandering endometrial cells that escape into the pelvis during your period, a faulty immune system lets them stick around and set up shop where they shouldn’t. These misplaced cells then cause all sorts of trouble—like pain & inflammation, even organs getting stuck together.

So, while most women have endometrial cells that escape into the pelvis, only those with a sluggish or confused immune system end up with full-blown endometriosis.

If your immune system is working well, it recognizes the “out-of-place” cells and wipes them out. But if it’s not, those cells get comfy, multiply, and may cause all the classic endo symptoms.”
