Just my weekly medical update….

Three weeks post op exploratory eye surgery on my right eye….

Which included:

Vitrectomy
Scleral buckle
an injection of medication
And an oil bubble to hold The retina secure in place

Pre-surgery my right eye vision went completely black …

every day I tend to get more light Ness and color I feel like those pictures and videos is a fairly good visual of what I’m seeing currently out of my right eye … and nighttime actually is the worst the lights are nauseating almost like you’re in a kaleidoscope… it is hard to keep my right eye open as it gets strained if I try to use it too much

now my left eye has always been legally blind . I feel like I have been adapting well even mentally it’s a struggle, as long as I have my magnifying glass I can see things as long as the fonts larger … it does put a strain on my eye, being at home or in familiar places clearly is easier for me because I know where things are for the most part. I’m going out in an environment that I am unfamiliar with really just makes my anxiety high.

My left eye vision is where it is and it’ll always be that way, like it is not correctable with surgery lenses etc. …

my right eye has always been my good eye and now it’s my bad eyes… I am hopeful that Dr Garcia can give me more vision back but it’s still a waiting game… at my eye appointment next week we will be scheduling another surgery which I’m hoping will clear my vision even more..

We are hosting an indoor co****le tournament for Stacie to help offset her current and ongoing medical expenses. Stacie has been a medical mystery to the several specialists she's been to, after experiencing macular edema and a viral infection that has left her blind.

Sunday September 25th

Registration is at noon. First bag tossed will be at 1pm.

Cost is $20 per participant/ $10 non-participant

Food, pop, water will be available for purchase. Due to legalities, alcohol must be BYOB.

There will be items for raffle, 50/50, and music. 😊

Yay MAY 11th we can start taking appointments! I will be at the salon tomorrow Saturday from 11-1pm and again Monday from 12-2pm to start rescheduling, we have so many guest that need to get in so please feel free to give me a call during those hours to guarantee you have an appointment time, you may inbox me as well and I will work on getting everybody on the schedule!
