Today, we celebrate the feast day of St. André Bessette. St. André was a religious Brother of the Congregation of Holy Cross and is recognized currently as the only Holy Cross Saint. He primarily served the people of Montreal in Canada and is credited with thousands of healings associated with his pious devotion to Saint Joseph. On Oct 17, 2010, St. André was canonized by Pope Benedict XVI. Today, the Church celebrates a very simple man who lived a remarkable life of service to God's people. St André Bessette is especially recognized here at Holy Cross Village as André Place is named for him.

We are incredibly thankful for all the music groups that came to perform for our residents! While we were only able to get photos of three, we had thirteen groups keeping our halls merry throughout the month!
