I bring 5 years experience as Chief Deputy Auditor, 10 years as Deputy and Controller for the City of South Bend, and 10 years as Finance Director of Cass County, Michigan.

Good Evening!

I need to tell you that this will be my final post to this FB page I created a few years ago.

I have made the very difficult decision to resign my position as Administrator of Portage Manor. It has been my pleasure and life’s work! I am thankful for the overwhelming support of County Commissioners, Auditors Office, and County Council over the past 5 years.

Mike Eby has accepted the Interim Administrator position and is incredible person to lead this amazing team! The staff have all the tools they need to continue this important work of heart!

I will leave this task too, in their very capable hands, to continue to keep this page updated with the awesome work being done at such a special place!!

I will leave you with an overdue congratulations to our newest Certified Nursing Assistants Miriam & Nick!! They put in the work & made it happen!! I am so thankful for you both and encouraged by the great care you have to offer!!

As promised to those who have taken the time, thus far, to submit letters of support for Portage Manor, I am submitting them to you all on their behalf. I have attached them here. I pray you will take the time to read each one; they come from a variety of community members and partners.

Portage Manor is a gem in our community!
