Today our friend Susan from Center for Hospice Care came over and introduced us to a new card game called Trash. We had so much fun learning how to play, and there were lots of smiles and laughs around the table! It didn’t take long before everyone got the hang of it and didn’t want to stop. Thank you again, Susan, for coming to spend time with us and for teaching us something new. We truly enjoyed having you!

This past weekend was extra special for us! We were blessed to welcome an incredible group of young adults from Penn High School's Penn Assisting Seniors -- & they spent both days pouring their time and kindness into our community. They visited one-on-one with residents, joined in on Bingo & board games (and yes… there may have been some friendly competition 😉), and even created the sweetest handmade hearts & cards that truly brightened everyone’s day. Thank you for choosing to spend your weekend with us. Your compassion, energy, & joyful spirits made such a difference. We are already looking forward to the next visit! 💛

And yes… the coffee cups are absolutely accurate. ☕We may run on caffeine and inside jokes, but we also run on heart, teamwork, and a whole lot of love for our residents. This is the crew that keeps the fun going and the community thriving — one cup of coffee at a time!

Our Winter Olympic Games have officially begun, and let’s just say… nobody came to play nice. Yesterday’s air hockey showdown? Intense. Competitive. Slightly dramatic. (We may need instant replay.) Today we took on curling — residents vs. staff — and I’m proud to report that wisdom and experience absolutely crushed youthful confidence. Residents for the win! 🥇Did I mention we are very competitive around here? Because we are. And we’re just getting started. Stay tuned… this might go down in history as the most epic Winter Games yet!

Our team was grateful to be a part of an event that celebrates excellence and achievement!!

Hearts, laughter, and a whole lot of creativity! 💖 Yesterday we had the best time making Valentine’s door hangers with Jill from AseraCare and Amanda our amazing Administrative Specialist. Our ladies knocked it out of the park—perfectly festive and ready for February!

Today we had such a great time Cooking with Cash, our new dietary manager! We whipped up some yummy pudding & topped it off with our favorite syrups. Sweet treats, big smiles, & lots of fun all around! 🍮✨A delicious way to spend time together & welcome Cash to the team! 💛
