This grant from the Valinhos Foundation directly supports the South Bend Recovery Café and the individuals who walk through our doors every single day.
Because of this investment, we can continue providing a safe space, peer support, recovery circles, and connection for our community.

We are incredibly grateful to share that the South Bend Recovery Café has been awarded a grant from the Valinhos Foundation.
The South Bend Recovery Cafe — a program of The Upper Room Recovery Community — provides a safe, drug- and alcohol-free space where individuals can work on trauma, mental health, substance use disorder, and rebuilding their lives.
This funding ensures we can expand prevention-focused programming, early identification of mental health needs, and coordinate referrals while continuing to offer daily peer support, recovery programming, meals, and community connection.
