My mother had been almost a decade into her transition when she called me in tears.
Now - my mom doesn’t cry often (at least that she lets anyone in on) so this call really hit my heart hard.
“If you don’t do anything else, Adrienne - create education for women in their menopause transition. I can’t find support and I feel like I’m losing my mind. When will this end?!”
This phone call spurred me to action. Her hopelessness and anguish broke my heart. I promised myself, and her, that I would help take the mystery out of this transitions for others.
While there is a lot more talk about this phase of life now then there was even 5 years ago - we are only talking about hormones in those spaces.
This transition is hormones but its energetic, its mental, its physical, its social. It’s so much more than just hormones.
I want to walk you through this journey and take the mystery out of it. I want to give you the “how to” guide and not just the “survival guide.”
