On Veterans Day, we pause to honor and thank all those who have served our country. Your courage, dedication, and sacrifice are deeply appreciated. We would like to thank some very special Veterans to us here at SGA and SGEC, Juanita Boyd, Practice Manager, Nan Robillard, CRNA, and Charles Gill, CRNA. We appreciate you today and everyday. In November we wear blue and purple for Gastric and Pancreatic Cancer Awareness.

Preventing pancreatic and gastric cancers involves lifestyle choices like avoiding to***co, limiting alcohol, and maintaining a healthy weight through diet and exercise. A diet rich in fruits and vegetables and low in processed/red meats and sugary drinks is recommended. Regular physical activity is a key preventative measure, as is protecting yourself from certain workplace chemicals.
