The first cohort of the First Steps Early Childhood Workforce Development Program is underway!

Six participants completed CPR & First Aid certification—an essential part of preparing early childhood professionals to respond effectively and confidently in emergencies and keep young children safe.

About the group of participants, the VT SafetyNet Instructor, Tamara, shared, “What an amazing group of people in class today. I teach tons of people each year and it is unusual for everyone in class to have such positive energy.”

Lund’s Regional Partnership Program is hiring Substance Use Case Managers to support children and families impacted by substance use. In this role, you’ll partner closely with DCF Family Services at the front end of child protection, building trusted relationships, conducting screenings, and connecting parents to treatment and community resources. You’ll help reduce barriers like transportation, childcare, and stigma so families can fully engage in care and feel supported every step of the way. The payrate for this position is $25/hr.

Today we were honored to join Wanda Audette’s family as they donated a beautiful stone bench in recognition of Wanda’s 30 years of dedicated service to Lund. The bench was unveiled at our 50 Joy Drive offices, where staff and family gathered to celebrate her legacy.

Lund is one of 15 Parent Child Centers (PCC) in Vermont. As part of the Vermont Parent Child Center Network we work with PCCs across the state to nurture child development, prevent child abuse and neglect, protect against economic hardship, and build family resilience.

All PCCs in Vermont offer 8 core services. One of these services is: Information & Referral. Using a no wrong door approach, PCCs connect families to public benefits, health care, and community resources. Staff provide navigation, application assistance, advocacy, and follow-up to ensure successful access.

Lund’s Resident Treatment Program is hiring a Weekend Residential Shift Supervisor to support pregnant and parenting individuals in our care. In this role, you’ll supervise Residential Counselors, help coordinate daily programming, assist with new resident orientation, and help create a safe, supportive, and structured environment where families can heal, grow, and thrive. With opportunities to guide and mentor staff, plan activities, and collaborate with community partners, this role is perfect for someone who loves leading with compassion and building strong relationships.

The payrate for this position is $27/hr. Certain shifts also offer a $2.50 differential!
