Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and dispensing sterile compounded medications with precision while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Your expertise will directly support patient care in complex clinical settings, including hospitals and critical care environments, ensuring safe medication administration and optimal patient outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to specialized pharmacy services in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare sterile compounded medications in compliance with USP standards
Follow all state and federal regulations governing pharmaceutical compounding
Perform product preparation, compounding, packaging, and labeling
Maintain strict quality assurance and safety protocols
Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and healthcare team members
Ensure accuracy while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Complete annual OSHA, HIPAA, and pharmacy policy training
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years sterile compounding experience (Required)
Active West Virginia Pharmacy Technician License, in good standing
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) (Required)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong knowledge of USP compounding guidelines
Knowledge of West Virginia state laws regulating pharmaceutical compounding
High proficiency in computer systems.
-Pharmacy software/ excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy and organizational skills

⏰ New Daily Closure Beginning 3/3/26 12pm-1pm daily
Starting March 3, 2026, our pharmacy will close for one hour each day. During this time, there will not be pharmacist on duty.
This dedicated hour allows ALL staff members to take lunch simultaneously and focus on essential operational duties that help keep your prescriptions processed safely and efficiently. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize both patient safety and staff well-being.
