Abraxas Home Care will be rolling into the Colonial Heights Christmas Parade TOMORROW, December 2nd at 7:00 PM on the Boulevard!

Look for: 🚌 Our big Abraxas bus
🛴 And our crew on Segways spreading cheer

We’re excited to celebrate the season with our community and highlight our amazing adults with disabilities, their families, and our incredible staff.

Come wave, shout hello, and tag us in your parade photos – we can’t wait to see you there! ❤️

Parade Weather Update — From Abraxas Home Care

As we monitor the upcoming weather for the Colonial Heights Christmas Parade, we want to share an important update.

Because many of the individuals we support have ambulation and mobility needs, our participation depends heavily on safe weather conditions. If the forecast becomes unfavorable, Abraxas Home Care will not be able to attend for the safety and well-being of those we serve and our staff.

We are currently on standby and watching the forecast closely.

Your understanding means so much as we prioritize safety above all else.

We will keep everyone updated as more information becomes available.

Abraxas Home Care, LLC – Travel Advisory Regarding I-95 Near Hopewell and Chester, Virginia

Due to the ongoing dangers along I-95—including recent trafficking-related crashes and today’s serious gas truck accident involving explosions—Abraxas Home Care, LLC is issuing an immediate travel advisory.

As an agency that provides transportation services, it is our responsibility to take appropriate precautions whenever significant risks arise.

Effective immediately, all employees are strongly urged to avoid using I-95 when traveling to or from the agency. Please use alternative routes and exercise extreme caution while commuting.

Additionally, all company vehicle travel on I-95 is strictly prohibited until further notice.

The safety of our staff, our clients, and our community remains our top priority.
