Lucy Belt, L.Ac. is a dedicated and dynamic acupuncturist with a unique background that blends athletics, nutrition, and integrative medicine. A former Division I Track and Field athlete at UMass Amherst, Lucy competed in the hammer and javelin while earning a double major in Nutrition and Sustainable Food and Farming. Her passion for performance and well-being extended into coaching, where she served as a throwing coach for the Track and Field team at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Driven by a deep interest in holistic health, Lucy pursued a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) in Worcester. During her graduate training, she completed a clinical internship at Boston Medical Center’s Family Medicine department, gaining valuable experience in integrative, patient-centered care.
Currently, Lucy is an adjunct faculty member at MCPHS, where she teaches the Intro to Japanese Styles Acupuncture I, II, and III series. In addition to her teaching role, she is excited to join and be a part of Community Acupuncture on Cape Cod, where she is committed to making acupuncture accessible and supporting the health and wellness of the local community through affordable, high-quality care.
