Today was another beautiful day at White Oaks! We enjoyed having so many families here, over 50 family members, celebrating Easter together. Our incredible Dietary team put on this delicious buffet, while our Activities department led the Egg hunt, and our Care team kept everyone comfortable and well cared for. Events like this take a whole team effort but it’s always so worth it to see the joy it brings our residents and families. Thank you for spending your Easter with us, your Spring Street family.

Nothing means more to us than hearing from families who trust us with the care of their loved ones. 💚

One family recently shared how relieved they felt after moving their mom to White Oaks, where she has now been for 8 months. After experiences at two previous communities, they finally feel confident knowing she’s truly in good hands. From compassionate nurses and dedicated leadership to creative daily activities and meaningful holiday celebrations, our team works hard to create a place that feels like home.

We’re so grateful for the kind words about Cheryl, Kim, and the entire care team who make such a difference every day. Creating a supportive, engaging community for our residents and their families is what the is all about. 🌿

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from White Oaks! 🍀

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating with a delicious Shamrock Shake, freshly demonstrated by our amazing culinary team, it was a big hit! 💚

The fun didn’t stop there… after enjoying their treats, everyone joined in for an exciting game of bingo, complete with big prizes and lots of laughter! 🎉

We love creating joyful moments and celebrating together—today was full of smiles, luck, and great memories! ☘️

First day of Spring is coming up quick and so is another month of fun at White Oaks at Spring Street. We start April off with our April Fools Day Dementia Support Group covering Therapeutic Fibbing. Then we celebrate Easter with a family brunch buffet and egg hunt. We round out the month with a Glow Party that we are so excited for! Stay tuned for more information on our Events Page!

Our Memory Care residents had a special visitor this week thanks to the amazing team from Hickory Knolls Discovery Center at the St. Charles Park District! They brought a friendly corn snake for everyone to see and learn about up close. They also brought a snake egg, and led a demonstration on the sounds of different species of frogs.

Residents enjoyed the chance to touch the snake, ask questions, or maybe just look from afar. Moments like these spark curiosity, conversation, and plenty of smiles and laughs- proving that it’s never too late to learn something new.

A big thank you to the team at Hickory Knolls for their continued partnership in creating fun and engaging experiences for our residents. We loved having you! 🐍💚

Bring your loved one or, if they cannot make it, you are welcome to come alone. It is connecting time with others going thru the same thing. Just a fun hour and half of talking and socializing.

We are so thankful for Lydia and Isaiah that come to our community twice a week to sing hymns with our residents. They come rain, snow, or shine and our residents truly look forward to it every week!
