Hi all! So it's surreal. Not only are we run out of stores if we are unmasked. (I wonder what the Muslim nations epidemic rates are, btw), but now we are afflicted by riots in response to this terrible travesty of a police murder of one of ours. No due process... no jury... death penalty implemented.

I think that we need more compassion and understanding when working with those who might be hopefully just momentarily gone astray. But this is not a race issue. I think we need sensitivity training for our law enforcement for all peoples. I worked with a group of officers to train them for sensitivity when working with a person with mental illness. I don't believe that all are chronic. If someone is in a state of unrest, they are mentaly ill. And we all know how we can be. I'm lucky probably to be breathing now...
Perhaps the root cause is environmental, but still, illness is perceived by the individual and possibly reacted upon by society.
