Wishing you all a Holiday Season as magical as Christmas in Vienna!

Holidays can be magical and yet filled with grief too! Grief does not have a timeline...it hits us when we least expect it...whatever the loss is allow it. Then give yourself the gift of the beautiful memories that you hold in your heart.

Find someone who understands these moments of grief and be able to express that you love this time of year, but it hurts too! Even if it is just me through this post! I truly love Christmas and the Holiday Season, however it hurts to the core! Every Holiday I have a place setting for my late husband, my son and my kids dad. We share in the wonderful memories and funny stories that brings laughter and tears. They are never forgotten as they live deep within our hearts!

Holidays can be a magical time of year, however for many the holidays brings sadness, thoughts of those no longer here to share in the joy, loved ones who can't be with you because of distance, memories of unpleasant times, thoughts of what the holidays could be but aren't because of health issues, a cancer diagnosis, and so much more. Unfortunately, I am one of those.....

It can be so hard to see the light shining through the cracks and feel the happiness, peace and joy that is portrayed on social media and movies with pictures of smiling faces and family gatherings.

So my wish this Holiday Season is that if you know of someone who is going through what I described or something else, that you take the time to reach out to them and let them know you are thinking of them and when you are out just smile at someone as it may bring a ray of light through the cracks that they need! If you know anyone who needs support, please send them my way so I can offer my guidance.

Kids now more than ever need us to be honest, feel safe and learn to believe they have the answers within them as they grow. Their brains do not mature until 24 to 26 years of age. We guide them, provide discipline when needed, teach them the difference between right and wrong, and provide a positive and loving beginning in life.....

And then we send them off to school and we see them start to change..their behaviors are different, they say words that weren't in their vocabulary and they become confused. Teachers for me were my mentors. I spent 7 to 8 hours in school being molded and learning skills that have helped me in life. Today kids are confused as to right and wrong, hate and love, male and female and who they are inside! Look at the curriculum they are learning, books they are reading starting in kindergarten and you will find out why. Great teachers are leaving this profession because of that! One of my clients told me years ago she was told to empty the cookie jar and make it a condom jar???? Her child was in kindergarten!!! Would that not confuse you as an adult!!! What confusing message does that send to our children?

If your child, grandchild, someone you meet on the street is confused and needing guidance, honesty, someone to feel safe to talk to please message me or comment and if I cannot help support them I work with so many wonderful people all over the US and World that I can find someone that can I assure you! (they do not talk to their parents, I know mine would talk to my friends or my colleagues before me)

I have been tested these past 2 weeks with clients who pulled on my heart strings through names of those I love, Matthew, Michael to name a few. I am in the business to help and these clients tried to lure me in with their money and there needs weighed heavy on my morals. During my quiet prayer time I asked for God's guidance and to speak to me on what to do and all I heard was lucifer. I discussed these cases with a colleague who agreed and today God answered me loud and clear and confirmed his message of lucifer. Ask and he shall answer, we may not like what we hear but listen with your heart! Never lose faith and cast your worries onto God. Let him be your fuel! Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's celebrating! Mother's Day can be hard for mom's like me who have lost a child. There's a hole in my heart that no one can understand unless they too have lost a child!

If you have lost a child no matter how old, whether a stillbirth, miscarriage, abortion; if it was your only child or you still have living children it still hurts as a mom.....I will celebrate today with my children, however it will be a little different without my Michael. I know his soul shines down on me from the stars of heaven and his shadow follows me through this journey.

I will be bringing his picture to the table today as I do every Holiday and will share a special story and memory as my kids will too. We will laugh and cry, however I never want to not talk about him and how special he was to all of us. I hope you can do the same....if not please share their name with me, or if they weren't born and you didn't have the opportunity to name them please write infant, stillborn, miscarriage, abortion as you are still their MOM! Praying for you all!!!

Happy Mother's Day to all moms and a Heavenly Happy Mother's Day to everyone who have lost their beautiful moms! I love seeing all the pictures posted in honor of them! I hope today you talk about them as you gather around the table, couch or TV and share a special memory and if you aren't going to be with anyone please share it here with me!!!

My mom is 95 but has dementia and doesn't really remember much except in spurts so there is a lot of anticipatory grief and she was a fabulous cook but man did she make a mess in the kitchen that my sister and I had to always clean up! My ex-mother in law Rose, who was like a mom to me, and I took care of until the end hated to wash dishes because she had a manicure every Friday and didn't want to ruin her nails but she could broil a steak or pork chops in the oven like no one else could or ever will!

I will be sharing some memories with my kids today so that they can hear a story that they didn't know before. I hope you embrace the opportunity to do this or just share it here in my post! I would love to hear their story....

Look up as they may be gone from sight, however their soul shines down on us like the stars and are a shadow following us in our lives!!! xoxo

Reap seeds of anxiety

Sow seeds of trust in the Lord, reap seeds of goodness in the Lord

And so on
What you sow is what you reap

What seeds will you sow today to reap Gods abundance???

A portrait can be like a story of our lives full of sunshine, rain, mountains to climb, dark stormy clouds, joyful colors, fog you cannot see through, laughter, still water, empty boats.....and of course LOVE

"Love and loving requires sacrifice always"" (Nicholas Sparks from The Longest Ride).. When we love deeply we grieve deeply. This month is always the hardest for me to get through. Although it happened years ago my body reminds me like it was yesterday. Losing a husband and then 2 children (one son and one stepson) has been so hard for me, however as the old saying goes..."it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all". I wouldn't give up anything with them in my life in order to not go through this type of grief. My life's journey now is to help others understand that they are not alone in how grief can take a hold of our hearts and lives in a way that others cannot understand even if they did have the same loss....it's all about the relationship you personally had with your loved one.

What I miss most about losing my husband is his unconditional love and how he made everyone feel so special including me and with my 2 sons, their silliness that always made me laugh, making me feel like I was the best mom and cook, their innocence and so much more....

If you would like to share your loss and what you miss the most about them please do...as I have learned grief has to be witnessed by someone that they feel will not judge them for feeling this way no matter how long ago the loss was.

Let's expand on the "Let Them Theory"...when you let what others are saying or doing your let them rent space in your mind and truthfully they're doing it rent free!

Self Care and Self Love is about you living your life and letting them live theirs...letting go of the control that you think you have over what you say to them even when they ask for our opinion or direction. Honestly, I have learned they will do what they want anyways and we have wasted our energy and time that we cannot get back trying to talk to them, guide them etc but in the end they get to choose. Today choose you and "let them do them" and you "let you" do what makes you happy! Days, hours and minutes of our lives are rushing by us!

Today I am letting them deal with their dilemma's and letting me do me....massage, nails and taking care of me first! Way long overdue self care putting me first!!!

"Out of the ashes HOPE rises" When we are facing some of life's most trying times, it is so very hard to find the HOPE! When you face those dark times pray for HOPE to carry you through. HOPE and my FAITH have truly been my saving grace!

Rev. said today to have courage to speak the truth, and through my difficult journey these last 15 years I have spoken with courage about my faith and never losing hope! Some listen and move towards God with my help and others just shake their heads like their listening but I know they are not. It never discourages me because I know what fuels my soul!

Jesus wants us all to be kind and love one another, however there is so much evil and hate in this world that it's time to stop being complacent and have the courage to stand up and speak the truth of what's right and what's not! We have allowed these past few years to let the righteous, greedy and hateful speak louder as we are bashed for having a truthful, loving voice! It's time we have the courage to change the world back to having honest ethics and morals not situational ethics!

STAND UP WITH COURAGE! SPEAK UP WITH COURAGE!
