Being an RCC is basically just a full-time detective job… except instead of solving crimes, you’re solving “who can cover this shift?”

At this point, I’ve built stronger negotiation skills than a hostage negotiator and deeper emotional bonds with the schedule than most people have with their family.

But hey… when the shift does get covered?
I celebrate like I just won the lottery

Hi, I’m Brittni, the Activities Director here at Riverway!

I grew up in Utah and Evanston, Wyoming, and have spent over 10 years working as a CNA and Med Tech—so caring for others is truly my thing. I’ve always loved working with the elderly, but getting to bring fun, laughter, and meaningful activities into their days is the best part of my job!

I’ve been married to my husband, Matthew, for 17 years and we lived in Germany for four while he served in the Army. I’m also a busy mom of three amazing kids who definitely keep life interesting — Fun fact, my eldest was born in Germany 🇩🇪 , which she loves to tell people about (even though she can’t remember).😂

I love all things horror🧟‍♀️—but balance it out with a soft spot for Scooby-Doo and Snoopy (my dog is named Scooby… you can guess what the next  one will be)🐾.

In the kitchen, I’m known for my baking and cooking. My carrot cake 🥕and pozole are always requested! I enjoy camping 🏕️ and fishing… but hiking? Let’s not get carried away…

I also love dancing and singing—am I good at it? Debatable. Is it entertaining? Absolutely!

When I’m not at work, you’ll find me painting, sketching,  and watching my cooking shows.
