The shortage in food, recent stop in imports and exports from other countries (e.i., India and Russia), increase in gas and food prices and war in Ukraine have left me with a strong impression to be prepared spiritually, financially and with food storage.

I look at what their monthly specials are and I try to order based off of that.
Once you try a few of the foods you can make an inventory of what your family will like and eat ( my kids love the fruit and veggies without having to re constitute it and so I know if I am limited with water, my kids will still eat it!) I try to budget between $50 and $100 a month.

Ok, so I am thinking of everything I can to protect my family! With the spread of the Coronavirus, I have been thinking of how prepared I am for anything that may happen, whether it’s a pandemic like a disease or a natural disaster. Really just being prepared to provide for my family. With that being said, I am going to start selling Thrive Life Dry freeze food again. It has a 25-year shelf life. Also don't forget about water, generators, medications (especially if you have family members on daily medications), first aid, water filters, solar energy flashlights, or plain flashlights. I am also getting a double sleeping bag. You can make a bigger 72-hour kit with sleeping bags and other necessities that you can bring with you if you have time! Don't forget car kits and to include your pets needs too!!

How many of you are freaked out by all these earthquakes happening?? Are you prepared to care for your families needs if the big earthquake comes??? I have been spending $50-$60 a month for the last year and a half and I almost have my rack of #10 cans full!
