Today would have been Lynn's 67th birthday. She shared half her life with me. I never felt worthy of her love. She was more than I could ever have dreamed. She was 34 years old when we met but looked 25. At 45 she could easily pass for 30 and at 60 she looked like 45. In her mind she was only 25 and looking for mischief. She had an infectious smile and a wonderful sense of humor. She was beyond smart, she was brilliant. She was who you wanted to be with in a crisis. She never felt attractive but she was truly beautiful. She never understood why people liked her but everyone did. I always felt blessed by her love for me. She enjoyed her life and even her job. She made me proud to be "Lynn's husband" as I am known around town. She passed way too young. We weren't done yet.
Her memorial had to be cancelled due to the virus pandemic but I intend to reschedule when possible. In the mean time, hug your significant other while you can. Our time is short.
