Tonight, we honored and celebrated the incredible journey of our graduating chief residents, Dr. Sanchez and Dr. Soto, from the Larkin General Surgery Residency Program.

We couldn’t be prouder of the surgeons—and leaders—they’ve become. Through dedication, resilience, and countless hours in the OR, they’ve left a lasting impact on our program, their patients, and all of us who’ve had the privilege of working alongside them.

Teaching moments that shape surgeons.
In our General Surgery Residency Program, every procedure is an opportunity to learn and grow. With the constant guidance of our Program Director and the strong support system from senior to junior residents, we build confidence and skill—one case at a time.

Our sub-interns and medical students are not just observers—they’re part of the team. From hands-on experience to real-time teaching in the OR, everyone gets the chance to develop, contribute, and thrive.

This is more than training. This is mentorship, teamwork, and surgical excellence in action.
