📍 Born and raised in Jacmel, Haiti 🇭🇹 , Dr. Marcelin began his medical journey at Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina (ELAM) in Santiago de Cuba 🇨🇺 . He later pursued a Master’s in Public Health and a Ph.D. in Epidemiology at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid, Spain 🇪🇸— strengthening his passion for research, surgical innovation, and global health.
He completed a General Surgery residency at Severo Ochoa University Hospital in Madrid, followed by advanced training in Colorectal Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic (Ohio) in 2015. After gaining experience as a First Surgical Assistant at Hialeah Hospital, he joined the Larkin General Surgery Residency Program in 2024.
