Things runners forget when they’re deep in training:
▫️Most running injuries aren’t from “running too much” — they’re from weak links. Your core, hips, and glutes need support just as much as your mileage does.
▫️Speed doesn’t come from the run itself. It comes from strong glutes + hamstrings that produces power.
▫️Endurance isn’t built by miles alone. Muscle endurance = the reason your form holds up in the last 6–8 miles.
▫️“I’ll deal with injury when it happens” will 200% set you back. Strength work keeps you healthy enough to stay in the race.
