He received his Gamma Knife training at Brown University. The Gamma Knife

Gamma Knife Perfexion is the only dedicated neurosurgical tool specifically designed for non-invasive brain and neck procedures as well as a treatment option for neck and cervical spine radiosurgery. This procedure is best known as “the Gold Standard” for its excellence. The Gamma Knife treatment uses rays that are potent only at the intersection point without affecting surrounding healthy tissue. The procedure surpasses all modalities in terms of safety and effectiveness. Since this is a non-invasive procedure, it requires minimal anesthesia and does not involve the risk associated with open surgery, infection hemorrhage or other morbidities. The procedure takes less than 1 hour with few side effects and most patients can resume regular activities sooner. The patient, for the most part, can leave the hospital the same day or stay overnight for observation.
