This patient underwent a stab phlebectomy✨, a procedure designed to remove superficial varicose veins. It is performed under local anesthesia in the office, allowing for precise vein removal with minimal discomfort and without the need for large surgical cuts.

🦵💥 President Donald Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency — a condition that affects millions of people worldwide.
Dr. Edgar Galinanes, vascular surgery specialist, explains what this condition is: it occurs when the veins in the legs can’t return blood efficiently back to the heart, leading to symptoms like pain, heaviness, swelling, and even skin changes.

Although it may seem minor at first, chronic venous insufficiency can progressively worsen if left untreated, significantly impacting quality of life.
