Who’s that new guy with Dr. Albrechtsen??

In case you haven’t met him yet, we are excited to introduce you to the newest addition to the Albrechtsen Orthodontics Family, Dr. Chris Fanelli!

Dr. Fanelli was born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania. He moved to Utah for college and has considered Utah home ever since. He attended the University of Utah for his undergraduate education, and continued on to the University of Utah School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He graduated dental school at the at the top of his class and received awards for leadership and clinical excellence. Following dental school, he completed a three-year orthodontics residency at the University of Kentucky, where he honed his craft for shaping beautiful smiles and received unique training in the use of clear aligners (e.g., Invisalign), temporary anchorage devices, laser gingivectomies, and digital orthodontics. His passions for improving the patient experience and achieving outstanding clinical outcomes have led him to pursue additional training in facial esthetics through the intensive Pitts Masters course.

Dr. Fanelli is married to his lovely wife, Natalie Catlett, who is a mental health care provider in Farmington. Both medical professionals have additional part-time jobs: snuggling with their cat, Tallulah. When he isn’t transforming smiles or relaxing at home with Tallulah, you can find him skiing at Snowbasin, mountain biking through the Wasatch Front, whitewater rafting the Colorado River, and camping beneath the stars. Update: Covid-19 Closure Statement Office Closed: Until April 27th, 2020

The safety and well-being of our patients, employees, family members and the community at large continues to be Dr. Albrechtsen’s primary concern. The Governor of Utah in cooperation with the Utah Department of Health has asked for our continued cooperation to preserve masks, gowns, gloves and other personal protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure that out front-line medical caregivers stay healthy and can continue to provide the best care to our loved ones impacted by Covid-19. To that end, The Governor mandates that we suspend all non-emergency care until April 27th, 2020.
Our team will continue to be in contact with you to ensure that there is minimal interruption to your care and to answer any questions you might have regarding next steps as we all band together to flatten the curve.
Thank you for supporting us in this effort to ensure anyone that needs emergent care will have the ability to do so.
We will continue to monitor the situation and update you as soon as we are able to safely and responsibly get patients back on our schedule. Thank you all for your understanding and cooperation during this challenging time. Be safe and stay healthy.

COVID-19 OFFICE CLOSURE STATEMENT

In order to keep our patients, employees, family members, and the community at large healthy and safe, Dr. Albrechtsen believes it is his social responsibility to close our practice for the next two weeks effective today March 16, 2020.
We are proactively taking this step to comply with the most current CDC recommendations for public safety. Our team will be in contact with all patients that have appointments scheduled within this 2 week period and let you know as soon as we are able to get you back on our schedule. Hopefully, as we all do our part to flatten the curve of infections, we will be able to minimize the impact of this virus. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you as soon as we are able to safely and responsibly get patients back on our schedule.
