An alternative for neuropsych testing: As a mom myself, I wanted to reach out and let others know of new availability just over the NH border for evaluations at a discounted OON rate.
I have a postdoctoral fellow in clinical neuropsychology, Dr. Jillian Banco, joining my practice in January 2026! Dr. Banco is going to be an amazing addition to the region with lots of experience. She is personable, kind, and engaging, and she and I will be working together to provide evals for the children and adults whom we see.
Evaluations with Dr. Banco will be flat-rate and all-inclusive, as she builds her expertise in neuropsychology under my direct supervision (board-certified neuropsychologist). Abbreviated evaluations focused on a particular question or for super young kiddos may also be an alternative option. I am licensed in both NH and Maine, and thus we can offer telehealth intakes and follow-ups for those who live in Maine as a result. Hope this may be helpful for some!

Honeybee tried using a feature on our phone system -blast text messaging- yesterday to remind people we were closed due to the weather. I am aware there are some glitches to work out--such as sending to our entire database, not just active clients and not taking 4.5 hours to send the message! Sorry for any inconvenience! We are a work in progress!

Reminder: Honeybee Therapy follows MSAD 17 for weather closures, so no therapy

✨ Why a 504 Plan Matters for Students with Type 1 Diabetes ✨

A 504 plan helps ensure your child with T1D is safe, supported, and included at school. It’s a legal document that outlines how teachers, nurses, and staff will help manage things like blood sugar checks, snacks, insulin dosing, and absences for medical care. 💉🍎

Every child deserves a learning environment where their health needs are met and they can focus on being a kid — not their diabetes. 💙

What else did you add to your students 504 plan?

Please, when you visit the education center, please take a peek of the beautiful mural in our “Quiet room” (as long as it is not being used).
I reached out to friend, Leah Hersom, who has an amazingly talented daughter and ask if she thinks Zoey would like to try her hand at a wall mural at the center? She did not hesitate and did not disappoint! We love it!❤️
Here is Zoey’s bio:

Zoey Hersom is a 14-year-old artist from South Paris, Maine, who absolutely loves to draw and create. Art has always been her favorite way to express herself — whether it’s sketching characters, painting colorful scenes, or bringing her imagination to life in new ways.

This year, she took her creativity to the next level by painting a mural for a local educational center in Poland, ME — a place she’s always loved, dedicated to teaching people about animals. Her artwork now brightens the space and celebrates her love for both art and nature.

As a young artist on the autism spectrum, Zoey sees the world through a unique and beautiful lens. Her passion, focus, and creativity shine through in everything she makes, inspiring those around her to see the joy and color in every day.”
