Proudly serving our Maine community for over 45 YEARS! All of our doctors are dual-degreed & board certified. We are a full scope OMS practice.

Our goal is to offer care that is unquestionably safe & comfortable within a modern, state of the art facility. Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates was founded by Dr. Lewis Estabrooks in 1980. Our surgeons provide a full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from Corrective Jaw Surgery, Wisdom Teeth Removal and Dental Implants and more. Since the inception of the practice, our doctors have served as leaders in organized medicine and dentistry at the local, state and national levels. Recently our doctors were inducted into the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Very few OMS meet the rigorous standards and requirements to become fellows, but our doctors do. In fact no other OMS in Maine has ever been nominated or inducted into the college. We are the first and only OMS office in New England to gain accredited status by the Joint Commission as an office based surgery facility. All of our clinical staff is BLS (Basic Life Support) and DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination) certified. All of our doctors and our registered nurse (RN) are ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certified. Overall the goal of the practice has always centered on creating a positive experience for the patient in the most comfortable, safe and technologically advanced atmosphere possible.

Dr. Jacobsen personally raised over $8,000 and competed for Team PD Gradiators who raised over $70,000 🌟

The 2025 Parkinson’s ride has raised nearly $1 Million so far this year!
