Training Hip Internal Rotation - Most people’s hip internal rotators are forgotten about. Hence they become tight and weak! Everyone should train HIP INTERNAL ROTATION! Check out this progression to safely add it into your program.

Preemptive Hip Warm-Up Exercise - Windshield Wipers.
Lay on your stomach, keeping your neck in a neutral position. Start with knees bent up to 90 degrees. Rotate them to the left as far as you can without having a pinch in the front. Then rotate as far as you can to the other side. Again, without any pinch pin the front. Repeat 12-15x each side.

Ya’ll give a follow. She is a 16yr old SF Native and is a 22x USA Boxing National Champion. She is currently ranked #1 in the Junior Female 132lb weight class. In 2024, she was a Nation Champion at 125lb and 132lb weight class and then also defeated the 148lb champion. She is 37-5 in her Ameteur Boxing Record.

Try these two HIP Movements prior to your HIP Mobility Program to get your hip joint warm and primed-up!

1. CARS - Starting in quadriped with your back and head in a good neutral position. Bring knee towards chest as far as you can ,rotate knee up and outward while moving into extension and bring back to start. Repeat 2x. Then do 2x more in revearse direction. Move through the largest ROM as you can without pain and/or a pinch in front of hip. Repeat 2-3 times.

2. Windshield Wipers - Starting in prone with knees bent up to 90 degrees. Rotate both feet as far to the left as possible and then all the way to the right as far as possible. Move through the largest ROM as you can without pain and/or a pinch in front of hip. Repeat 15 times.
