We want to give a huge shout out to our very own Meredith Glaubach who is the recipient of the 2026 Outstanding Staff in Cooperative Extension Award!

Meredith has been with the Garden Kitchen for about two years, during which time she has implemented, grown, and coordinated our PLAZA Mobile Market whose goal is to support an equitable local food system and increase food security by selling fresh, affordable produce in communities where it is often difficult to obtain such items, while simultaneously creating economic opportunities for small farmers.

Tucson is lucky to have you, Meredith!

A lot has been changing in terms of nutrition benefits programs. To our customers who are worrying about keeping food on the table: we see you and we are on your side. We will continue maintaining low produce prices for our customers (while also continuing to pay our farmers fairly). Please let us know if you are looking for additional resources.
